Rules of Admission

Eligibility Criteria For Admission

For BCA (Hons.)

  1. The candidate must be an Indian national.

  2. The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination from:

    • West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education/ISC / CBSE

    • Any other equivalent board with English as one of the subjects.

  3. The candidate must have passed H.S. (10+2) with any one of the following subjects: Mathematics OR Statistics OR Computer Science OR Computer Application OR Business Economics & Mathematics (BEM) OR Vocational Engineering & Technology with Additional Mathematics

  4. The candidate must have passed H.S. (10+2) not earlier than 3 years from the year of admission.

For BBA (Hons.)

  1. The candidate must be an Indian national.

  2. The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination from:

    • West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education / ISC / CBSE

    • Any other equivalent board with English as one of the subjects.

  3. Students from any stream (Science / Arts / Commerce / Vocational, etc.) are eligible to apply. 

  4. The candidate must have passed H.S. (10+2) not earlier than 3 years from the year of admission.

Documents Required at the Time of Admission

(All documents must be produced in original)

  1. Registration Certificate, Admit Card, Mark Sheet, and School Leaving Certificate of the last qualifying examination (H.S. or equivalent).

  2. Admit Card and Mark Sheet of the Madhyamik Examination or any certificate mentioning the Date of Birth.

  3. Relevant certificates for SC / ST / OBC / Minority / PH candidates (if applicable).

  4. Aadhaar Card.

  5. Four (4) passport-size coloured photographs
    (one photograph to be pasted on the Application Form).

  6. Income Certificate issued by the competent authority
    (not below the rank of Gram Panchayat Pradhan).

  7. SC / ST / OBC candidates must submit one additional set of documents to the SC / ST / OBC Cell at the time of admission.

  8. ABC ID.

General Rules

  1. Students must fill in the Identity Card Form within the stipulated time to receive the Identity Card.
  2. Incomplete applications will be rejected immediately.
  3. Application Forms will be issued on dates notified on the College Notice Board, on:
    • Production of original or attested photocopy of the qualifying examination Mark Sheet, and
    • Payment of ₹500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only).
  4. Issue of the Application Form does not guarantee admission.
  5. Admission will be made strictly on the basis of counselling.
  6. Candidates selected after counselling must complete admission on the specified date and time. No request will be entertained after the deadline.
  7. Admission to all courses will be made strictly according to seat availability.
  8. The entire admission process is governed and supervised by the Teachers’ Council and its Admission Sub-Committee, whose decision shall be final and binding.
